David is a big Lord of the Rings fan and found out that the The Fellowship of the Ring was going to be shown while a full orchestra was playing and the Boston Collegiate Choir was singing. So we jumped on a plane and flew to NY to have some fun for the weekend. Here are some of the things we did the weekend of October 9-12, 2009

Adding One to the Family
Ok, the story is that Sherry met Colton Trevor Lacy on March 29, 2009. Colton checked Sherry out at church by going up front during Testimony meeting to give his testimony so he could see Sherry at a better view. It must have been love at first sight. They got engaged on May 20, 2009 and then made a trip to California so I could meet him. These are pictures of the family with the new soon-to-be son-in-law Colton. Welcome Colton!!!

Trip on Douro River
Christina and I took a river cruise on the Douro River in Portugal this summer.
Looking out over the city of Lisbon
Fresh flowers sold on the street
Cute little side street
Christina and Margie about got stuck in the subway door. They weren't quick enough. We loved riding the public transportation system there. We rode the buses, subways, taxis, and veniculars. What a beautiful city.
